For the avid Green-family-blog follower out there, it might have been noticed that the team have been somewhat absent for many months. I urge you to stop worrying right there because all is well. With Christmas rapidly approaching, I thought that it would be appropriate to give a little update before everything becomes eclipsed by Christmas festivities*.
The big kids are all in the final year at their respective universities and therefore spending a significant amount of time sitting at desks being almost completely obscured by piles of soon-to-be overdue library books as a result of pre-Christmas deadlines. The (currently only) teenager in the family is spending time familiarising himself with UCAS and the History A-level syllabus. Our youngest member of the family is celebrating the (quite frankly brilliant) results of his latest music exam and enjoying frequenting the local Laserzone and Cineworld for the occasional birthday party. After the initial struggles of adapting to family life with just four Greens living at home, Sara and Stu have opted to exchange the large kitchen table for a new four-person one. The three eldest children have been left questioning the practicality of this decision.
Along with the latest release of this year’s Christmas card and accompanying photograph (which can be found in the Christmas Cards and Annual Portrait sections of the blog), I will wish you a very merry Christmas and leave you with a selection of less-professional photos (c/o of my iPhone) of recent events to give you an idea of what we’ve all been up to.
